Hi

I have recently completed a DMP. All defaults have now fallen off my credit file . However I do have a few payday loans (last one settled 13 months ago ) what are my chances of securing a mortgage at a decent rate ?

Hi, thanks for getting in contact and congratulations for ending the DMP.

A mortgage will most likely be possible with potentially High St rates however of course it will come down to the finer details and I would ensure you avoid pay day loans in future.

Hi

Thanks for your quick response ! That’s positive to hear. I was of the assumption that lenders (especially high street) would decline with any evidence of a payday loan taken out in the last 6 years.
